About Me
I'm a Software Engineer specialized in React Native (iOS/Android) and TypeScript, based in Cuenca, Ecuador. Right now I work on micro-frontend architecture and platform tooling for Movistar Peru, as a full-time contractor with Stefanini LATAM, building host shells, domain micro-frontends and the shared platform SDK they all consume. Before that I shipped fintech and education products in fully remote teams, and I've worked across the stack, from Spring Boot and Next.js services to CI/CD pipelines. I care about testing, clean architecture, and making design and code meet in the middle.

Mobile & Platform Developer – React Native

- ▹Development of the new Movistar Peru customer application (iOS/Android), progressively replacing the legacy app through a micro-frontend architecture with Module Federation: mobile and web host shells resolving a catalog of five domain micro-frontends at runtime, each built and deployed independently so a single domain can ship changes without rebuilding or resubmitting the application.
- ▹Project stack: React Native, TypeScript, Re.Pack (Rspack) as the bundler replacing Metro for Module Federation support, pnpm and Turborepo monorepos, TanStack Query and Zustand for data and state management, Restyle for cross-platform theming, Contentful as headless CMS, AWS services, and Jest for unit testing.
- ▹Contribution to the platform SDK and shared packages consumed by every micro-frontend, centralizing authentication, storage, API consumption, feature flags and telemetry behind adapters, including native Android modules in Kotlin for third-party SDK integration, along with the shared type contracts and the communication channel between micro-frontends.
- ▹Development of domain micro-frontends (authentication, home, and service self-management flows), integrating platform services and remotely managed content, and of the cross-platform design system (web and native) with Figma-synced tokens adopted across the application.
- ▹Standardization of the team's quality practices across nine platform repositories: unit testing with Jest under a 90% coverage threshold, on-device E2E tests, and technical documentation of architecture and business flows.
- ▹AI-assisted development: Spec Driven Development, per-repository context files encoding project architecture and conventions, skills and subagents for recurring tasks such as code review and documentation, MCP servers integrated with Figma for design-to-code and with device automation tooling for E2E runs.

- ▹Cross-platform mobile development (iOS/Android) contributing to the implementation of Utransfer, a fintech application for domestic and international bank transfers, using React Native, Expo and TypeScript, with Zustand for state management and conditional navigation based on authentication and KYC verification status.
- ▹Implementation of peer-to-peer payment request features with real-time currency conversion, contact search, and automatic SMS/email notification system.
- ▹Integration with multiple external services including a bank transfer provider, a gaming catalog API for the rewards program, and notification services, over an API service layer with multi-environment configuration. Implementation of RSA encryption for sensitive data and authentication token management through HTTP interceptors.
- ▹Participation in review process, identification and correction of bugs and security vulnerabilities in the application, collaborating in preparation and approval for ethical hacking evaluation and security audits.
